Christmas Program

The girls had their Christmas program at school last week and did a great job singing and had fun watching all the other classes sing as well.
Daphanie is on the right top row. We were sitting pretty far back in the church. I stood up and waved so she knew where I was. She was a little bashful.
When Lilly's class went up I went up to sit in their seats since they were the last class to sing! Lilly did great and emjoyed singing!!
and of course Pea was there to watch!

Disney On Ice

The girls have a wonderful daddy that bought them tickets to Disney On Ice again!! We went last year and they loved it and they wanted to go again this year. We had Grandma Nana here so she enjoyed the show and spoiled the girls with treats! The girls loved it and were amazed!!

Tickle me PINK

The girls wanted to have their room painted. The went back and forth with purple and pink.. and also blue. But they picked the color tickled pink. My mom is a suburb painter so we asked her to come down and paint! We also wanted baby boys' room painted too so she painted his room BLUE! The girls will be getting Hello Kitty decor for Christmas and they want a hello kitty room. Hopefully I will be able to post pictures after their whole room is finished, and also baby boys room!!

Thankful Tree

Our children are really into holidays and love to know which ones are next and the meaning of them. We talked about Thanksgiving and how we need to be thankful for the things we have. Lilly understands it and enjoys writing what she is thankful for on a leaf everyday.

(Lillyann is thankful for: flowers, Daphanie is thankful for: disney (on ice))

sleeping little girls

The two littlest girls are battling some illnesses, which makes for some snuggles and sometimes turns into napping. This is great for me with the new orders from the OB to take it easy. I am going to take it easy and listen to little girls sniffles while they sleep!

Happy Halloween

Camp Fire

Preschool Halloween Party

Penelope and I were invited to attend Daphanie's class Halloween party. Penelope was excited to go to school and she was able to play games and have a snack with the class!
Penelope waiting for the party to start!
The whole preschool class walked thur a few classrooms and one of them was Lilly's class. Penelope was so excited to see her too.
Penelope even sat on the rug and played games with the kids, she did a great job!

Penelope was even picked first to do the bean bag toss since she was sitting so nicely!
Daphanie got her turn too and loved having her sister with her in class!

play

Penelope plays very well on her own. The other day I just sat and watched her for a while. She was playing with the counting bears and would line them up and one bear would go to the each of the bears and say "Hi Sissy"

Baby #4 is a...

We are over the moon with excitement that we will be adding a little boy to our family! We were happy and overjoyed that that the baby was healthy during the ultrasound and decided to find out if baby was indeed a boy like I was predicting! We would of been over the moon for another little lady, all babies are blessings. There is just a different excitement for something new and different!! So bring on the blue, trucks and cars, and everything else that comes with little boys!!

Our Big Girls

Memories of Summer

Summer is ending and Fall is on it's way! We had a great summer full of fun! We had many backyard fires with roasting marshmallows and s'mores. Went to a few baseball games and enjoyed the ball park food! We went to the cabin and fished, went to the beach a few times, and fished some more. The girls really enjoyed fishing with Daddy and also with Papa and Nana. The big girls and Daddy camped in the backyard in a tent, a first ever for both of them. They became great friends with our next door neighbors, and enjoy spending many hours playing! Memories to cherish forever.

Rainy Weekend

We started off the rainy weekend with a trip to the museum. The girls had fun making the layout to this house and adding in the furniture.

Penelope went to play with the building blocks
 Daphanie putting the bathroom together
We then moved over to the house. Daphanie was washing and putting away all the dishes.
You can see how happy Penelope is here by the dimple in her cheek, she loved wash wash washing the peaches!
So proud of her clean peaches
 Lilly playing some lovely music
Lilly very proud of her block tower! After the museum we went to rent the movie The Lorax. We have never read the book so I really had no idea what it was going to be about, but it was great. The story is great, just like all of Dr. Suess'  work.
I had some saved boxes from our move (over a year ago). I knew I wanted to build something out of them someday and since it was a rainy weekend we went at it. We talked it over and decided that we wanted some windows that you could open and close and some that just stayed open. They wanted points at the top just like a crown. We started to paint it just pink and yellow, but ran out of those colors and added blue into the mix too! It has already gotten hours of play!

Homemade Pizza

The girls have just started to love pizza, before they would pick it a part and only really eat the cheese. I found they really love it more when they make it themselves! I found a great dough recipe that I have used half dozen times and it has always turned out. Fail-Proof Pizza Dough.

Start with the sauce, and steal your sisters pepperonis off her pizza
add your cheese and get your hands messy
don't forget all your favorite toppings!
