Dreaming

 I ask the girls every night while they are in bed what they are going to dream about. Some nights it is plain and simple, others is sweet and fun! Here is what they said tonight!

"I am going to dream about elephants, Rapunzel and butterflys" -Daphanie

"I am going to dream about butterflys coming to my flowers and they will bring all their butterfly friends" -Lillyann

Lilly is currently working on sight words as she learns to read. So to change it up so we could play outside but also do our sight word lesson we made a sight word hopscotch! It was a blast! I would ask her hop to "made" and she would hop there and say the word and spell it. Then she would tell me a word to hop to. We took turns until we were all hopped out!

With Pink Scissors

This is the first time this has ever happened with our children. Daphanie cut her own hair. When I asked her if she had cut her hair she proudly said "With my pink scissors." It isn't noticeable at all, or I haven't noticed what part of her head it came from! Let's just hope this doesn't happen again!

I Can See YOU!

Best Day Ever

Lilly felt like Rapunzel today. You know when Rapunzel swings from her hair from a tree as says BEST DAY EVER! Daddy made a swing from the tree in the backyard and Lilly was an excited happy little girl. It was one of the best days ever!

Family Museum

We went to the Family Museum this past week (again, it doesn't get old) The girls have a blast playing and learning. When we are there they usually play very well together and take turns. Penelope likes to run around everywhere, she is fast!

 Shopping at the grocery store and checking out, that apple rang up at $9, crazy expensive!

If you walk over this mat the lily pads move, the water ripples and the fish swim by! It changes pictures every 10 minutes or so!

Shape Tiles

 Shapes tiles, probably the best $1 spent at a garage sale ever! The girls like to make patterns, pictures and color/shape sort with these. We have also used these as counters when working on math problems, but most the time they just like to make works of art. I hear every minute or two, look Mom, look what I made.

Coughs and Sniffles

We have had lots of coughing and sniffling in our house lately. All three girls seem to have it and can't get rid of it. Hoping by this weekend we will have healthy sniffle free girls!
