300 days old

Lillyann is 300 days old!

What a little girl she has grown to be, she is walking around the house with her one hand usually on something (the wall, couch, gate, chair, door, cabinets..). Some of the time she will let go and just walk. She will get about 8 to 10 good steps then fall to the ground to play, or she has reached something else to grab on to.

She has finally cut 4 top teeth! Oh what a trooper she has been! They have been coming for weeks! The right front and the one to the right of that came in couple weekends ago. Finally today the left two cut though! So she now has a total of 6 teeth!

She is getting better and better at chasing the cat. I think that may be due to the walking and faster crawling. It is so cute to see Lillyann duct under to see if Callie is under the bed.

I just love the look on her face in this photo!

Guess What..?

Lilly has took her first steps! Every day she is taking more and more steps, I don't know if I am ready for her to be walking/running around! Lillyann also learned to wave bye-bye!
Lillyann came down with RSV and croup last week, she had to stay in the hospital over night to get a breathing treatment that was to strong to at home, or in the doctors office. The Doctor also wanted to make sure she wouldn't need the help of oxygen to breath. She didn't need the oxygen, and her oxygen levels were great so she got to leave the next day!
I am going to post some pictures of the big girl. I might beable to get a video of her walking on her next week!

8 Months

Today Lilly is 250 days old! (8 months and 5 days)
She is getting to be a very talkative little girl! no real words yet. She loves to babble dada, baba, but not mama! That's okay I know it will come soon! Not much has changed from the last blog, but I have had to put away some of her old clothes she just grew out of! She is now fitting great into the 6-9 months, and some 6-12 month outfits! She hasn't been weighted lately but I'm sure she is just over 17 lbs! She has to triple her birth weight (6 lbs, 6oz) by one year. I think she can do it! She has to be one year and 20 lbs to be able to be front facing in the car. She will be a happier rider when that happens because she will be able to see what is going on.

I have been back to school for over a week now so Lillyann gets to spend 3 days a week with her Great Grandma Kupka. Lillyann loves to go over there, I think Great Grandma loves to have Lilly there too. Lilly loves to get up close to Buster,(Grandpa's new pug) but she does not like it when he barks!

Lillyann usually gets to see Madison on Wed. When Grandma picks her up from daycare. Lillyann likes to play with Madison, now that Lilly is on the move, she can follow her around!

Happy New Year

We had a Merry Christmas, How about you? This is how ours went...
We started off the holiday at Grandma Debs house where she opened a few presents with Great Aunt DeDe. The boys helped her get her toys out of the boxes and showed her how to play with them. Then we had to leave to get to Great Grandma and Grandpas where many people were waiting to see her. Great Aunt Angie couldn't wait to hold her. Great Aunt Denise had drawn her name for the gift exchange and got her a leap pad book reader which she loves to listen too. We then went back to Grandma Debs and opened more presents. Lillyann got lots of books and a soft blanket that Grandma Deb made. While we were opening presents Santa and Mrs. Clause came in and surprised us with gifts and candy canes! Taylor was so surprise and excited to see Santa.
The next morning we were off to Grandpa and Grandmas house where we opened presents with Matthew, Rachel, Madison, and Grandpa and Grandma. Lilly and Maddie both got a tickle me Elmo which Lilly loves, she laughs at him when he is rolling around and laughing. Then we went over to Great Grandma Baulers for lunch and to open presents. Lillyann got bath toys and lots of books!
Our house is now full of toys! Thank you everyone for all the great gifts!
