Wordless Wednesday

"I want to stay little..

...I don't want to get big." Lilly said.
I wish I could let her stay little forever. I can't, but I can try to help her make her childhood a spectacular one. I know as she grows and learns she will amaze herself and us with the things she can do. I look forward to helping her grow and learn, but she will still be my little girl forever!

Washing dishes is so much fun!

After baking cookies the girls needed something to do. I asked them if they would like to wash the dishes and as fast as they could they pushed chairs up to the counter. They washed the dishes and played in the water long enough for the first batch of cookies to be cooled and tested by my little bakers!

It will not be long..

It will not be long, and this little girl will be up and moving with her sisters. For now she is happily watching them play. Most the time it is loud and busy, but Penelope doesn't seem to mind, she just watches, or dozes off to sleep!

Gymnastics

Lillyann started gymnastics last week and really enjoys it! They are working on tumbling, jumping off the spring board and balance beam!

First Day of Preschool!

Lilly was super excited to go to preschool this morning! Daphanie doesn't seem like she is as excited as Lilly!

When we got there she was talking up a storm. As we opened the door she got closer and closer to me. The teacher then showed her where to hang her bag, she got shy but took the teachers hand. Out the door Daphanie and I went! I went back to get her and I was told there were no tears and she did great! If you want to know what Lilly thought of her first day look at the post below!

Babies carrying babies

I was in the mood to sew the other day so I thought that I would whip up a baby carrier for the girls. They love playing with dolls so I thought this would get lots of use. I didn't have a pattern but thought that I would make it like a Mai Tai Carrier. Here are pictures of babies carrying babies!

Daphanie likes her babies in front so she can see and bottle feed them.

Working Girl

Lilly was a working girl when she went with her Daddy. He thought that she would have fun coming with him one night to pick up around the house he is working on. He was right, she had lots of fun! She came home telling me all she did and that she was helping Daddy. She was beaming with pride!

Papa and Nana's

We went over to Papa and Nana's house one night last week.

The girls had fun swinging on the swings. Daphanie loves to sit on the swing and hold on.

They had fun playing on the slide. Going down and up it!

Somedays it is just too HOT

So we play indoors. I also wasn't feeling the best so we had a lazy day inside. The girls love these pop up tents that fold flat to be put away.

reading in! This girl loves to sit down with books! She is really good with her letters and sounds! I know she will love books more when she can read the words herself!

Lilly and I made bracelets for each other and Daphanie. while Daphanie napped!

Weekend Fun!

This weekend we stayed home and enjoyed watching the girls play in the backyard.

They love to be pulled in the wagon around the yard, or even to the park.

Lilly also pulls her sister around the yard in the wagon!

We had a wonderful weekend just hanging out at home. We grilled some burgers and had a fire. The girls ran in the sprinkler. They made some pretty art work on the cement. Jumped in and cooled off in the kiddie pool. Got pulled in the wagon. We also played a little baseball and jumped on a po-go stick!
