This is the way..

...we dry our diapers on a rainy Monday morning.
I am really in love with cloth diapering. It is easier than I thought it would be. There have been so many advances to how cloth diapering use to be. I now want to try a couple different brands than we have now. Right now we are using g-diapers with cloth inserts that I made from bamboo fleece, bamboo terry and cotton flannel, and they are great! We also have some prefolds with some covers. I would like to expand the stash we have with some pocket diapers, or the new Flip diapers by cotton babies. They do not come out till October 31st, so I might try some Fuzzibunz till then.. I think we need some pink diapers in the mix!!

but come on.. look at that cute little orange bum!

Hollywood Daphanie

when you try to get cute leaf photos...

all your child is going to do is eat the leaves and it wont work out! I swear every time I tried to get a picture she was either eating the leaves, looking the wrong way, had a horrible look on her face, or someone/something gets in the background. So here are the pictures I got.
I guess we will just have to try again! This is the only one of Lilly that she is looking at the camera, not running away, doesn't have her mouth open, and her eyes are open!

More pictures of Daphanie outdoors, they turned out pretty good, I think I only got 4 pictures, because after that she was just to hungry to sit and get her picture taken!

On The Move!

Bathing Beauty's

Fresh Homemade..

Baby Food!

Daphanie loves food, there is no doubt! But it is much healthier if I make it fresh! There is no added salt, sugar or starches. Its just plain yummy steamed veggies and fruit! So I thought I would share how Daphanie's food gets made!

This night the whole family was having green beans for supper. So I steamed all the green beans, then I kept Daphanie's amount still in the steamer since I wanted hers to be a little more cooked. I added 3/4 of a pear, I ate the other 1/4 to make sure it was yummy enough! I put the cover back on the pot and steamed that on medium for about 3 more minutes.

Then you put it in the Food Processor and process it until it is a good consistency, I added a little breast milk, like 1/4 of an oz to make it a little thinner. Sometimes I use apple juice with water, or just water.
Then it comes out looking like this and its ready to feed to baby!
This is what the bowl looks like afterward! I'm sure if I let her have the bowl she would of licked it clean!
