Baby #3 Update

I had another OB appointment this week. There was no drama this time around! The doctor was a little concerned with the size of my belly as it is measuring 3 weeks behind. I also haven't gained any weight since the last week of November, but I had a big gain of weight then (Thank you Thanksgiving meals).
My belly measuring small doesn't worry me all that much as I have measured small with both the girls, and I seem to make small and healthy babies! But with the doctor being concerned she would like to do another check-up and ultrasound to check the fluid levels and growth of baby. So I will get to see the baby again on Monday morning and hopefully all is well!
My contractions have seem to be just here and there so it looks like this one will hold off till after Christmas! I would love to have this little one on the New Years Eve, and the baby would be full term by then!

Sing a ma jigs..

eat green beans too.. or at least the girls think they do!

Baby #3 Update

I am now over 34 weeks pregnant with baby #3. I have been having some braxton hicks contractions, which are normal pre-contractions to the real thing. I have also been having real contractions. At my last OB appointment I was given the fetal fibronection test which checks for a chemical the amniotic sack gives off when labor is near. Well mine was elevated which means my body is getting ready for labor, but the test doesn't give an exact answer as to when, a couple days, a week, 3 weeks. So getting a positive is a hit or miss, but a negative is a good sign labor isn't near. I also got my cervix checked, and it has started to open and thin out.
Well I got a call from my doctors office a couple days after my appointment and they wanted me to come in because the fetal fibronection test came back positive. They wanted to put me on the monitor and check my cervix again. While on the monitor I was having short and soft contractions which would be the braxton hick kind. My cervix was a little more open and a little more concerning for my doctor! I was then given an ultrasound to check fluid levels and of course see that precious unknown gendered baby! Yes, we still don't know what this little one is and it's by choice! Everything on the ultrasound looked good, and it was measuring baby to be over 35 weeks gestation, and over 5lbs! Hopefully that is right!
I was then sent to the hospital to be able to get the steroid shot for the baby's' lungs. I was then put on the monitor and was showing real contractions now, they watched me until 5pm and my doctor wanted me to stay the night to receive medication to stop the contractions. After my contractions had been stopped for a couple hours the nurse called my doctor back and I was able to get out of there at 9pm!
I had to go in today to my OB office to get another steroid shot, it is a set of two shots about 24 hours apart. I got the shot and was able to come home. I have to call or go in if I am feeling any other contractions, otherwise I will be seen again at my regular OB appointment in two weeks!

not the best pictures but here is the little one flexing!

see look at the chubby face!

Sleeping Baby

She wont be the "baby" much longer, but she will always be my baby!

First Snow!

We had our first snow, or dusting about a week ago! The girls loved to look at the snow out the window, So we got our snow gear on and headed out the door!

First touch of the snow, Daphy thought it was something else and Lilly has been waiting for it since it all went away last Spring!
We headed down the street and we made it to the park, look how excited Daphanie is!
Snow covered slides are lots of fun!

Daphy prefers to go down on her belly!
Every fresh snow needs a snow angel!
Daphanies' attempt at a snow angel, belly down!

Swings were fun, a little cold air blowing on your face!
Daphanie holding up some snow, she was still excited about it!

Christmas Ornaments 2010

I usually let the girls pick out one new ornament that will be theirs every year. This year while we were out at the craft store they found some that you get to paint yourself and add a picture. The girls had a great time painting them and they look great with the other ornaments on our tree!It sure was a little messy, but they adore their hand painted ornament!

This little Daphanie of mine

I am going to let her shine!

She is doing great on the potty learning! On our trip up to MN for Thanksgiving she was dry the whole way there, the whole time we were there, and the whole way back! That was a awesome day for her!

But we still have the days were we can go though 3 outfits, or have a little pee on the floor. Usually #2's are always in the potty and not in a diaper! Which is great!
I have been trying to sew up some learning underwear which will hold a little pee, but I haven't perfected them yet! The fit on them is either too tight or too loose!

It also seems that others in the house are learning to use the potty too..

Thankful for Family

We are thankful for our wonderful family. We had two great Thanksgiving dinners. We had one in MN the weekend before with part of Corey's side. Then on Thanksgiving we had lunch at my Grandmas with my side of the family.

Lilly was in the car with me and on the radio it mentioned something about Thanksgiving day. She would get so excited and say something like: They know we are going to Thanksgiving! She gets really excited to visit family.

Here is cousin Jozie and Lilly hugging, and Daphanie joined in after the photo! They both had fun together and it was hard for Lilly to leave!

Daphaine opening presents, we had Christmas this year with Thanksgiving since who knows what the weather will be! (see how the picture turned out kind of blurry, yeah yuck! switching camera definitely!)
This is on Thanksgiving day! Look how handsome Joe Joe is! Daphanie is such a cutie too!

Joe Joe playing with an onion, right before Daphanie stole it out of his hands! Cousinly love!

Hello..

Anybody here?

We are! We are all doing great, just being busy with everything! Baby #3 is still a womb dweller and hopefully will be till after Christmas! Right now the doctor sees no reason in why the little one would be here sooner! Boy or girl we still don't know and it finally is making me a little anxious!

But I have to go now, Lilly and I are making cookies while Daphanie sleeps. Maybe I can get her to help do the dishes too!

I hopefully will have lots of posts and pictures soon, hopefully tonight if I am not to tried after getting the girls in bed!

Halloween 2010

Halloween is gone and done with for this year, but the candy isn't! I am sure it wont last long with my sweet tooth! So the costumes this year was Toy Story themed, a favorite movie series in our house. Corey went as Cowboy Woody, Lilly as Cowgirl Jessie and Daphanie as Bo-Peep. I didn't get many pictures on Halloween, but some other family members did so I will have to get the pictures from them, but here is what I got...
Lilly was excited all October about Halloween and dressing up! But when we started I think she wasn't so sure that is how Halloween worked. Then she realized when she goes trick or treating she gets candy!
Here are some pictures at the end of the night! Come on how cute are they?

Corey had the idea to write "Andy" on his boot to be like the real Woody! Lilly is also showing off her "Andy" boot!

Thankful November #1

I am thankful for my happy and healthy family

Dear Lilly,

Please stop growing up so FAST! You love to read, write, color, draw, count and even teach your little sister. Even though you can't do it all on your own, I know someday soon you will be able to! You amaze me everyday, I am so proud to be your mother!

Big Sister + Little Sister

= LOTS OF FUN!

Sometimes being goofy...

...Is how we have fun
